Good Faith Estimate
THE NO SURPRISES ACT
Under federal law, health care providers are required to provide a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of expected charges to clients who are uninsured or not using insurance.
Dr. Sara Marchon provides a personalized, written Good Faith Estimate through her electronic medical record system prior to the start of services or upon request.
Estimated Fees for Services
The following fees represent the current self-pay rates for therapy services:
Individual Therapy (60 minutes): $180
Couples Therapy (60 minutes): $225
Because psychotherapy is individualized, the total cost of care depends on the number and type of sessions you choose to schedule. The length of treatment is determined collaboratively and remains your ethical right unless treatment is mandated.
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) and no-shows are charged the full fee of the session scheduled.
These fees are the client’s responsibility and are not billable to insurance.
Important Notes
This information is an estimate, not a contract or guarantee of services.
Actual charges may vary based on your treatment needs.
This estimate does not include information about insurance reimbursement or out-of-network benefits.
If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.
